FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used for growing winter wheat. The method for increasing the yield of winter wheat involves the treatment of vegetative plants with an aqueous solution of ethyl ester of 3-(2-methoxybenzoylamino)-4,6-dimethylthieno[2,3-b]pyridine-2-carboxylic acid. The treatment is carried out in an amount of 30 g/ha in the tillering phase and 30 g/ha in the flag leaf phase at a working fluid consumption rate of 300 l/ha.
EFFECT: proposed method for increasing the yield of winter wheat using ethyl ester of 3-(2-methoxybenzoylamino)-4,6-dimethylthieno[2,3-b]pyridine-2-carboxylic acid provides an increase in wheat yield by more than 10% in comparison with untreated control; such property of the preparation used in the treatment was revealed for the first time.
