SUBSTANCE: universal clip-lock is designed for preventing the extension of tubes, for sealing the twisted necks of paper and plastic bags, and other soft packaging, fixing laundry on a clothesline, fastening several sheets of paper together, using as a holder for stickers, advertising booklets, bags with condiments, tubes, guides when installing wires and in other cases that require fixing and/or installation. The clip-lock has an unassembled design in the form of a horseshoe, or the letter U, with the edges brought together, symmetrically bending at the ends in opposite directions and forming a kind of lips. It can be made of elastic polymer material or sheet metal, with the ratio of the maximum length to the maximum height of the inner cavity of at least 1.5. On the outside, the clip-lock can have a spike, a pad of any shape, the same device of any size, a ring, or a hook.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to expand the scope of application of the device, to provide maximum convenience in use, to reduce the material consumption and complexity of manufacturing and, as a result, the cost, to develop various designs and devices based on the device.
