SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method for manufacturing a building material, such as sheet material for building. The device includes, for example, a sieving unit 10 and a receiving device 30. The sieving unit 10 has a receiving and transmitting sheet 11 without sieving holes, onto which the building raw material M is dropped, and at least one sieve sheet 12 with sieving holes, which is located below said sheet. The transmitting and receiving sheet 11 and the sieve sheet 12 are undulating, tilted, and disposed side by side in the tilting direction. The receiving device 30 is configured to receive the building raw material M that has passed through the sieving holes of the screening unit 10. In a method in a state in which the receiving and transmitting sheet 11 and at least one sieve sheet 12 wavy, the building raw material M is dumped onto the transmitting and receiving sheet 11 is moved from the transmitting and receiving sheet 11 to the sieve sheet 12, is sieved by the sieve sheet 12, and the portion that passes through the sieve holes of the sieve sheet 12 accumulates on the receiving device 30, whereby a mat is formed with at least in one layer.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of manufacturing building material, reducing the clogging of the holes of the screening unit for screening out the building source material.
