SUBSTANCE: container (1) for food with a lower part (2) and an upper part (3), each of which has six or eight side walls (4-9, 10-15), a flat bottom wall (16) and a lid connected to them wall (17). A swivel joint (18) is formed between the connecting side wall (4) of the lower part (2) and the connecting side wall (10) of the upper part (3), and the free ends (19) of the side walls (4-15) end in the end plane (21 , 22), passing obliquely to the horizontal plane (20). The free ends (19) of the side walls (10-15) of the upper part (3) end in the first end plane (21), and the free ends (19) of the side walls (4-9) of the lower part (2) end in the second end plane ( 22). The end planes (21, 22) run parallel to each other. A blank for the container is presented.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides reliable closure of the lower part by the upper part of the container.
