FIELD: package and storage.

SUBSTANCE: cardboard, paper or similar container includes bottom wall (12) and cover wall (14) connecting bottom and cover walls (12, 14) front and rear walls (22, 22', 22", 24, 24', 24") to form end sides (16, 18) of package (10). Package (10) is made in the form of prismatic body along parallel longitudinal and cover walls (12, 14) of longitudinal axis (L) and has at least one laterally connected to bottom and/or cover wall (12, 14) side valve (26, 28) for lateral closure of package (10). At least one lateral valve (26, 28) is made so that in closed position in at least separate areas it overlaps at least one of front and rear walls (22, 12, 14) connecting bottom and cover walls (12, 14, 22', 22", 24, 24', 24") and at least in separate areas protrudes beyond it. Invention also relates to a workpiece for making such a package.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides reliable closing in the area of side walls of package and provides higher resistance to loads.
