FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermoanemometric means for measuring the gas velocity and can be used in study of various media including aggressive ones. The present thermoanemometer for measuring the gas velocity in a counter-current gas-droplet flow contains one or more sensitive sensors and a temperature compensation sensor. The invention has a structure in form of deflectors located above the sensitive sensors parallel to each other. A deflector looks like a groove in the form of a half of a torus. The number of deflectors corresponds to the number of sensitive sensors, and the distance between the deflectors is not less than half of the small diameter of the torus. The deflectors are made of polyethylene which is resistant to freons and other aggressive media. The thermoanemometer is placed perpendicular to the flow of the measured medium.

EFFECT: creation of a thermoanemometer for measuring the gas velocity in a counter-current gas-droplet flow operating under the conditions of various aggressive media including freons.
