FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of painting wood, specifically to methods of finishing surfaces in order to obtain artistic effect. Method of coloring furniture facades involves painting the surface and the ends of the furniture face. At that, horizontally the furniture facade is placed on the surface of the printing device desktop, after which printing head is installed in carriage of printing device to required height, then horizontal beam with carriage is moved along table, as well as carriage along this beam and head of printing device is installed into initial position. Then, on the surface of the furniture front, the head of the printing device is dyed with a piezo-jet method. After painting the surface of the furniture facade, the sliding cover of the working table is moved away and on the lifting support under the sliding cover a furniture facade is installed on the end face, thereafter, lifting support is displaced in height so that top end of furniture facade is at or above level of working table surface. Then, the furniture facade is pressed with a sliding cover, the height, as well as the initial position of the head of the printing device, are repeatedly set and the paint is applied on the upper end of the furniture facade. Then the furniture facade with its painted end face downwards is installed on the lifting support, it is pressed with the sliding cover, then the paint is applied on the opposite end of the furniture facade, then furniture facade on lifting support is installed on one of adjacent to painted end, setting height of lifting support, pressing furniture facade with sliding cover, printer head height is set, and printing head is applied on upper end of furniture facade. Then the furniture facade is installed with its end face downwards on the lifting support, it is pressed with a sliding cover plate and paint is applied on the opposite end face by the printing head.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of painting facades.
