FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to coating by carbonyl method. It can be used for metallization of powder materials of various sizes and surface configuration. Installation for application of metal coating contains, in closed pipeline, coating metal carbonyl synthesis reactor, metal carbonyl decomposition reactor for applying metal coating on powder surface, gas flow cleaning reactor and gas circulation compressor. Synthesis reactor and the decomposition reactor are connected in series and mounted on a vibrating mechanism to create a vibrofluidised bed in the decomposition reactor. Each reactor is equipped with a heating system and a cooling system for monitoring and stabilizing temperature, at least one filter installed at the outlet of the reactor, and a line for sampling gas connected to the gas flow cleaning reactor. Between the synthesis reactor and decomposition reactor there is at least one filter. Additional cooling system is installed at the inlet of the decomposition reactor to prevent decomposition of carbonyl in the pipeline. Gas flow cleaning reactor and the circulating compressor are arranged between two buffer tanks for compensation of gas pulsations installed after the decomposition reactor.
EFFECT: higher quality of powder material due to uniform application of coating at low gas consumption.
