SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for supplying electricity to consumers of electricity of a military tracked vehicle, in particular a tank, and in particular to a starter-generator, and concerns, in particular, ensuring its reliable cooling during operation. A technical solution has been proposed for cooling the starter-generator in conditions of increased requirements for the operation of equipment. The declared cooling system of the starter-generator made it possible to reduce the temperature of the casing and the stator windings of the generator, which provided an increase in the electric power output at high ambient temperatures when the starter-generator was operating in the generator mode.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency of cooling the starter-generator of the power supply system of a military tracked vehicle when operating inside a closed, significantly heated volume of the engine-transmission compartment of the mentioned tracked vehicle, increasing the electrical power output and the efficiency of the starter-generator, increasing the stability of the power supply system, improving the operational characteristics of the military tracked vehicle when the increasing number and capacity of electric power consumers of the vehicle.
