SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular to autonomous refrigerated cars, designed for the transportation of perishable and non-perishable food cargo, requiring protection from atmospheric influences and sudden temperature changes. The autonomous refrigerated car contains an engine room in the end part, where refrigeration and heating equipment operating on diesel fuel stored in a fuel tank is installed, a telematics system, an autonomous fire extinguishing system and a power supply system with a battery pack. A fuel tank is installed on the flooring of the car frame with the help of supports, which is covered with a thermal blanket and is protected from above by a quick-detachable metal casing. The neck of the fuel tank is connected by a pipeline to the filler neck, which is located in the wall of the engine room. In the end wall there is a swing door with a locking mechanism. Ventilation grilles are installed in the side walls, end wall and roof of the car.
