FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of measuring equipment with the use of computing technologies, it can be used in the field of industry that operates pipelines. The system for non-contact determination of mechanical stresses in the pipeline contains a device for non-contact measurement of mechanical stresses in the pipeline and a computing device for determining mechanical stresses. The device for non-contact measurement of magnetic flux density includes an array of sensors designed to measure the magnetic flux density by sequentially non-contact measurement of characteristic parameters along the pipeline axis. The induction gradients of the magnetic field dB are used as characteristic parameters. These gradients characterize the change in density of magnetic flux, passing through an array of sensors during the movement of a device for non-contact measurement of mechanical stresses along the axis of the pipeline at a distance from it.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of determining mechanical stresses with simultaneous accuracy of detecting the source of the anomaly in the pipeline.
