SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio-absorbing materials and coatings and can be used, for example, to protect equipment sensitive to high-frequency electromagnetic radiation (EMR), as an absorbing material in microwave devices, for example, in matched loads, etc. The composite radio-absorbing material according to the invention contains an epoxy resin and a reinforcing filler in the form of multilayer carbon nanotubes, with the following component content, in wt %: epoxy resin 99-99.8; reinforcing component 0.2, while the multilayer carbon nanotubes are pre-functionalized with carboxyl groups with ferrite nanoparticles grown by hydrothermal synthesis.

EFFECT: invention provides increased radio-absorbing properties of the material while maintaining a low weight and high strength.
