FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to methods of preparation of a mixture of metal powder and carbon nanotubes and can be used in electrical coal products and other technical fields. A method of preparation of a mixture of metal powder and carbon nanotubes for producing composite materials is declared. The method includes dosing of initial components, their loading, blending the mixture and unloading of the mixture. Mixture blending is carried out in a drum-ball machine when overloading 10-25 g within 10-60 minutes.
EFFECT: method ensures production of a highly heterogeneous mixture, not liable to aggregation.
