FIELD: membrane gas separation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a membrane module for gas separation. membrane gas separation module containing a hollow fiber element having a hollow fiber bundle composed of several hollow fiber membranes and a tube sheet provided at the end of the hollow fiber bundle for bonding the hollow fiber membranes, a housing having an opening through which the element is inserted into or removed out of hollow fibers, a protective element having a gas outlet formed therein and attached to cover the opening of the housing, and a perforated plate having several through holes for the formation of gas channels, while the perforated plate is installed between the tube sheet and the protective element, and the membrane gas separation module is designed to separate gases by supplying mixed gas to hollow fiber membranes, wherein the perforated plate has (a) a flat area on the surface near the protective element and a flat area generally in contact with the protective element after installation, and (b) a recessed portion defining a channel that is formed on a surface portion closer to the protective element than a flat portion to form a gas channel, (c) a through hole extending in a flat area and a recessed area to form a channel in a top view of a perforated plate so that the through hole can communicate with the recessed area to form a channel.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide easy and accurate installation of a removable hollow fiber element.
