SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire extinguishing, namely to devices designed for spraying a fire extinguishing agent, and can be used when it is necessary to hide sprinklers that are in standby mode. The attachment unit of the drop-down deluge sprinkler includes a hollow body, at one end made with the possibility of being connected to the pipeline, and at the other end equipped with a support sleeve, inside the body there is a piston made with the possibility of screwing a deluge sprinkler into it and moving with it along the inner walls of the body to stop against the support sleeve, the inner diameter of the support sleeve being made larger than the diameter of the spray head of the sprinkler, but less than the outer diameter of the piston, the assembly is also equipped with at least one lock made to hold the piston together with the sprinkler in its initial position.

EFFECT: creation of a reliable and simple attachment point that would be suitable for drencher-type sprinklers and would ensure their quick and timely dropout when triggered under conditions of both low and high working pressure.
