FIELD: metallurgical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the metallurgical industry, in particular to methods of vanadium extraction from production solutions, it can be used in vanadium production technology and analytical chemistry. The vanadium extraction is carried out by extracting vanadium from an aqueous solution with a compound of di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid in hexane. The Na-salt of di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid is used as a compound of di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid. The extraction is carried out at a pH of 2.0-4.5 and a volume ratio of the organic and aqueous phase of 1:5.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the vanadium extraction from the solution to the organic phase due to eliminating the stage of adding sodium sulfate Na2SO4 and avoiding the need to control the narrow pH range at which the extraction is carried out, while maintaining a high degree of vanadium extraction to the organic phase, which corresponds to 99.9%.
