FIELD: orthopedic dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to orthopedic dentistry, it can be used in dental prosthetics among patients with hypostomia. The removable upper jaw denture for patients with hypostomia contains a base with fasteners for installation on the teeth and an artificial gum with artificial teeth. The base is made in the form of a perforated plate. One part of the plate is made in the form of a palatal arch. The other part of the plate is made in the form of a vestibular arch. The vestibular arch is connected to the fasteners, which are made in the form of clasps. The base is equipped with dumbbell-like retention elements. The dumbbell-like retention elements are placed at a distance of 4 mm from each other and are oriented perpendicular to the plane of the base for connection with the dumbbell-like response grooves in the artificial gum.
EFFECT: manufacture of a precision collapsible denture for the upper jaw of a patient with limited mouth opening using modern computer technologies.
