METHOD FOR DETERMINING INDIVIDUAL PARAMETERS OF NORMOBARIC HYPEROXIA Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2748256 C1

FIELD: medicine; functional diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, to functional diagnostics, it can be used to determine the individual parameters of normobaric hyperoxia by registering changes in brain biopotentials. The level of bioelectric activity of the brain (hereinafter – BEA) is determined according to the bispectral index before the direct implementation of normobaric hyperoxia. The volumetric oxygen delivery rate (hereinafter – VODR) is increased by 1 l/min every 15-30 minutes. The average BEA in each time interval is determined and compared with the previous BEA value. When fixing the negative dynamics of BEA, the value of the VODR of the previous time interval is taken as the target, and normobaric hyperoxia is continued with it.

EFFECT: method allows one to prevent oxygen intoxication in normobaric hyperoxia and increase its effectiveness due to BEA.
