FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used in the production of bodies for sprayers of fuel injectors of internal combustion engines. The working surface of the matrix for extruding the body of the atomizer of the fuel injector is made with a working surface having an inlet and fixing sections and a calibrating point with a cylindrical surface. The inlet section is made in the form of a first conical surface located coaxially with the matrix. The dimensions of the first conical surface and the dimensions of the cylindrical surface are determined by the given dimensions of the nozzle body obtained in the process of extrusion. The fixing section is made in the form of a second conical surface in the form of a chamfer with dimensions (1,5-1,6)×45°, a third conical surface with a cone angle of 170° and a depth of 0.15 mm to 0.35 mm and the fourth conical surface in the form of a chamfer with dimensions (0,50-0,55)×45°.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the manufacturability of the matrix design.
