FIELD: foundry engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of foundry engineering and can be used for educational purposes. The apparatus for centrifugal casting is comprised of a dismountable metal casting mould rotating around the vertical central axis thereof, containing two half moulds (1, 2), and a drive for rotation thereof. A metal receiver (3) and a gating chamber (4) located thereunder are made in the central upper part of the mould. Working cavities connected to the gating chamber by channels (6) arranged radially in a plane perpendicular to the vertical central axis are made symmetrically to one another in the peripheral part of the mould at an equal distance from the vertical central axis. In each channel (6), a movable gate (7) with a head on the peripheral end thereof is installed configured to move along the longitudinal axis of the gating channel. In each working cavity, a replaceable ingot mould (9) with a casting mould (10) containing a receiving element is installed. The heads of the movable gates and said receiving elements are configured to mutually hermetically contact.
EFFECT: provided is use of the apparatus in the educational process due to the access to the overview of the internal units of the apparatus and increased variety of parts produced by metal casting without replacing casting moulds.
