SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas and chemical industries, it can be used to make pilofacturing holes in a pipeline of any diameter. The device contains a case, a drill, a drill feed mechanism, a device for fixing the drill to the case and a device for fixing the case to the pipeline. The device for fixing the drill on the case is made in the form of a bracket installed with the possibility of moving along the case axis by means of a drill feed mechanism, which is located inside the case and contains a spring mechanism consisting of a spring acting on a support washer interacting with the bracket, and a spring cocking mechanism. The latter is a screw pair formed by a shaft made rotatable by means of a steering wheel and a nut, the outer surface of which interacts with a vertical groove made in the wall of the case. The device for fixing the case to the pipeline is made in the form of two magnetic supports, pivotally fixed to the case.

EFFECT: reliability of installation of the device on the pipeline of any diameter and in any spatial position increases; the safety of work on the implementation of pilofacturing holes in the area of potential risk is ensured.
