SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering, in particular to coulter groups of planting machines. The coulter group of the potato planter contains a potato planter coulter, including a case with an acute angle of entry into the soil, an individual floating suspension, limiters for lifting and lowering the coulter, and a copying wheel. The individual floating suspension of the coulter is made in the form of a hinged quadrangle with the sides formed by the bracket for attaching the coulter group to the planter frame, the coulter case and the longitudinal upper and lower rods, with a ratio of their lengths, respectively, 3 : 4 : 8: 8. The straight line passing through the attachment points of the longitudinal rods on the bracket is located vertically. The upper suspension rod has a telescopic coupling for adjusting the angle of attack of the coulter.

EFFECT: invention will allow for automatic stabilization of the coulter stroke at a given depth when copying the irregularities of the field.
