SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport measuring equipment for determining mutual placement of a crossing point and a stock rail of the track superstructure. The apparatus for measuring mutual placement of a crossing point and a stock rail is comprised of horizontal and measuring rulers, a length stop, an adjustable stop, a locking screw. The working surfaces of the length stop are configured to be installed on the lower wearless part of the rail head.

EFFECT: additional errors caused by a change of the shape of the rolling surface of the rail head during operation and influence of the placement of the opposing rail are prevented as a result.
