FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of hydrometallurgy of precious metals and can be used for recovery of gold and copper from a sulfide gold and copper float concentrate. The method includes fine grinding to a fineness of P80% of class minus 20 microns or less, leaching of mineral raw material with a solution of sulfuric acid at the atmospheric pressure with bubbling an oxygen-containing gas in an open-type reactor at a temperature not causing the solution to boil. The sulfide gold and copper float concentrate is leached with the solution of sulfuric acid in two stages at a temperature of 40 to 105°C and duration of the stages of 2 to 48 hours. The first stage of leaching is performed with bubbling air until the oxidation level of sulfides reaches 1 to 25%, and the second stage of leaching is performed with bubbling oxygen until the oxidation level of sulfides reaches 1 to 50%.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing recovery of gold and copper, reducing consumption of cyanide in processing of float concentrate, and reducing processing costs thereof.
