SUBSTANCE: The invention relates to a surgical lamp. The surgical lamp (1) contains several lamps (2a, 2b) belonging to the group (5, 8) of lamps, each creating a light beam (4) passing along the longitudinal axis (3), as well as oriented and arranged in relation to each other in such a way that the longitudinal axes (3) of the light rays (4) of these lamps intersect in a common focal plane (6, 9), and at the same time, the lamps (2a, 2b) of the specified group (5, 8) of lamps can be energized independently of each other with the possibility of adjusting the geometric shape (18) of the light field formed by the specified lamps (2a, 2b) in the lighting plane (7, 17) located at a distance from the focal plane (6, 9).

EFFECT: provision of individual adjustment of the geometric shape of the resulting light field created by the light rays of individual lamps of a group of lamps, which makes it possible to optimally adapt the light field to the wound area.
