SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the examination of eggs including the determination of the sex of eggs. The device has a lattice frame stocked with eggs, a feeding device and a means for making holes in the respective eggs stocked in the lattice frame. In this case, the feeding device is made with possibility of supplying the lattice frame at an angle of inclination from 20° to 80° relative to the plane perpendicular to the direction of gravity to the specified means for making a hole in the corresponding egg, through which the withdrawn amount of liquid is removed from the egg. The opening of the hole in the egg is provided in such a position that the angle between the axis of rotation of the corresponding egg and the direction of the means for making the hole in the corresponding egg is from 30° to 60°.
