SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, it can be used in electric drive. First engine (1) and second engine (2) are started up simultaneously. On the start stage, their windings are connected in series by switching on switchboard (3) and disconnector (5). After starting the engines, contacts of disconnector (5) are disconnected, and contacts of second switchboard (4) and short-circuit switch (6) are closed up.

EFFECT: obtaining a device for starting two asynchronous engines.
