FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat curtains. The apparatus and method of heat supply of an air heat curtain implements heat treatment of air pumped into a door or a different opening served by the curtain using a heat pump. In the cold season, the air pumped into the opening is heated by a heat pump using the air outgoing from the curtain of the opening as a low potential heat energy source, wherein air intake for the heat pump evaporators is executed immediately beyond of the opening from the outside and above the opening. In the hot season, the heat pump is reversed to a cooling mode, and cooled air is pumped into the serviced opening and the waste heat is discharged from the heat pump by the air outgoing from the opening and taken directly from the outside beyond the opening.
EFFECT: technical result is utilisation of heat energy of the heated air outgoing from the heat curtain.
