FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to derivatives of 1-(3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-8-methylpyrazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazine-1(4H)-yl)-2,2-difluoroethanones of the general formula (I), which can be used as acid photogenerators in organic solvent solutions and in an optically transparent polymer. In formula (I), R1 is hydrogen, and R2 is chlorine, or R1 is bromine, and R2 is chlorine or fluorine. The invention also relates to a method for producing derivatives of 1-(3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-8-methylpyrazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazine-1(4H)-yl)-2,2-difluoroethanones of the general formula (I), where R1 is hydrogen or bromine, and R2 is chlorine or fluorine. The method consists in the fact that a mixture of 7-R1-3-tert-butyl-8-methylpyrazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazine and 2-R2-2,2-difluoroacetic anhydride, where R1 and R2 have the above values, taken in an equimolar ratio, is treated with water.
