FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a positioning apparatus (PA) and a method for generation of an electrically conductive connection between a stationary charging station and a vehicle, particularly an electric bus or a similar vehicle. The PA is configured to move the electric charging contact relative to the surface of the charging contact and to establish contact between them. The PA comprises: an articulated console (AC) and a driving apparatus (DA) for the AC drive. The AC is configured to move the charging contact between the contact position and the retracted position. The PA comprises a movement drive (MD) for creating a displacement force affecting the articulated console. The PA comprises an adjusting apparatus (AA) and a sensor apparatus (SA). The AA is configured to control the movement drive. The SA is configured to detect the charging contact surface or the charging contact. The SA is connected with the AA. The AA is configured to adjust the speed of the charging contact during movement thereof from the retracted position to the contact position depending on the relative distance between the charging contact and the charging contact surface. The MD is configured to generate a contact force affecting the charging contact surface. The MD comprises an adjusting apparatus and an electric engine configure to control by means of the adjusting apparatus.
EFFECT: proposed is production of an apparatus ensuring control of the movement speed of the contact apparatus.
