SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a contact block, a charging station, and a method for forming an electrically conductive connection between an electric vehicle and a charging station. The contact block is designed to move its electrical charging contacts relative to the contact surfaces of the vehicle and form contact with them. The contact block contains at least two charging contact holders with at least two charging contacts located on them. The holders of the charging contacts are connected to each other by a system of parallel rods (PR) of the contact block. The PR system contains two parallel connecting rods and two parallel load-bearing rods. Each bearing rod is connected to the connecting rods in one of two parallel planes of motion by means of connecting joints that are separated from each other. The load-bearing rods together with the connecting rods form a parallelogram. The connecting rods are connected to the main holder of the contact block by means of two load-bearing joints that are separated from each other in a load-bearing plane oriented parallel and centered relative to the planes of motion. Each charging contact holder is connected to the load-bearing rod by means of a rotary joint. The rotary joints are positioned perpendicular to the connecting joint. Each charging contact holder holds the charging contacts coaxial to the axis of rotation.
EFFECT: contact block provides uniform electrical contact, regardless of the transverse or longitudinal inclination of the vehicle during charging.
