FIELD: radar systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of near-range radar, it can be used for studying the functioning, testing and measuring the parameters of devices of near-range radar systems (NRRS) in laboratory conditions, including those with an ultrashort pulse (hereinafter – USP) signal. The installation for semi-natural simulation of a near-range radar system contains receiving and transmitting antennas, a controlled delay line, a controlled reflected signal attenuator, a controlled interference attenuator, an interference generator, an adder, and a control computer. The installation elements are installed in a certain way. The launch generation unit and the USP generator are added to the installation. The launch generation unit is switched on between the receiving antenna and the controlled delay line, and the USP generator is switched on between the controlled delay line and the reflected signal attenuator.
EFFECT: accuracy of semi-natural modeling is increased.
