SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for multi-position determination of the position of leaks based on an improved variational mode decomposition (VMD), including the following stages, which are: collecting the original signal about the leak in the pipeline; decomposition of the local mean over the set (DLMS) on the original leakage signal to obtain several components of the product function (PF); calculating the correlation coefficient of each PF component, selecting the required PF component according to the correlation coefficient, performing signal reconstruction according to the selected AF component, and determining the values of k VMD; performing VMD on the recovered signal to obtain several components of the internal mode function (IMF), calculating the value of the multiscale entropy (MSE) of each component of the IMF, and selecting the PMF component according to the value of the IMF of each component of the MSE; and performing signal recovery on the selected component of the IMF and completing the determination of the position of the leak in the pipeline by performing the calculation for determining the position by cross-correlation on each signal of the leak after blind source separation.
EFFECT: in the present invention, the pipeline leak signal can be efficiently extracted, and the effect of the low correlation component and noise in the original leak signal is eliminated, so that the final location result is more accurate.
