FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: piezoelements separate the antenna array into several subarrays, each radiating subarray element is assigned own probing signal from the set of pseudo-orthogonal signals, the simultaneous radiation into the monitored object is performed by all subarray elements and from there ultrasonic signals are received by means of any subarray with subsequent decoding of received echo signals for formation of set of echo signals which could be received at radiation and reception by all pairs of antenna array elements. For each of pairs of subarrays and for each position of the antenna array the own set of pseudo-orthogonal signals, for example Kasami codes or linear frequency modulated signals is used, and decoding for recovery of the image of reflectors by C-SAFT method is performed for formation of the set of echo signals using the maximum entropy method.
EFFECT: possibility of more than quadruple increase of rate of registration of echo signals using the antenna lattice and more than octuple decrease of volume of measured echo signals.
