FIELD: musical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: MIDI controller of a percussive musical instrument contains a case, on which at least one percussive zone is formed, consisting of a cushion of elastically deformable polymer material, to which a thin-sheet membrane of polymer material is connected located under the cushion, on the side of which, facing away from the cushion, an electrically conductive layer is applied, which is a movable electrode. The fixed electrode on the printed circuit board is located under the membrane and at a distance from it and is made in the form of a printed conductor. The printed circuit board is attached to the case. The movable and fixed electrodes form a capacitive circuit, the change in the capacity of which is associated with the value of membrane deflection from the impact of the drumstick on the cushion. The case is made of an elongated shape of a tubular metal profile of rectangular cross-section, in the bottom of which there are threaded holes for connection to the installation site. The cushion is made of fine-pored synthetic rubber and is located along the metal profile of the case.
EFFECT: claimed solution is aimed at simplifying the design of the MIDI controller while reducing the size, achieving higher sensitivity and dynamic range.
