FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to a pack of cigarettes for placement in it and recharging an electronic cigarette. Pack contains a rechargeable pack battery; first connector that can be electrically connected to an external power source; first recharging mechanism for recharging the pack battery using the external power source when the first connector is electrically connected to the external power source; second connector that can electrically connect to an electronic cigarette contained within the cigarette pack; and a second recharging mechanism for recharging the electronic cigarette when the electronic cigarette is electrically connected to the second connector. Electronic cigarette is protected from excess voltage and current during recharging. Recharging mechanism includes a charging controller for controlling the electrical energy flowing from the external battery pack of cigarettes to the cigarette battery; temperature sensor that responds to battery temperature; and a timer that prevents the flow of electrical energy from the external battery pack of cigarettes to the cigarette battery after a predetermined period of time elapses.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is improved safety and reliability of the electronic cigarette when it is recharged.
