FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an asymmetric polymer pervaporation membrane used for the separation of an ethanol-water mixture in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical and other industries. The asymmetric polymer pervaporation membrane includes a sequentially arranged selective layer, a nanoporous sublayer, and a microporous substrate with a total thickness of 100-120 mcm. The selective layer is made of a polymer polyurethane composition containing 46.5 wt.pt. of polyol, 46.5 wt.pt. of diisocyanate and 7.0 wt.pt. of acetone. As a polyol, the composition contains a polyol based on polyoxyethylene glycol-400 in the amount of 25-150 wt.pt., 4.375-13.125 wt.pt. of boric acid and 3.125 wt.pt. of triethanolamine, and as a diisocyanate it contains a polyisocyanate based on 4,4´-diphenylmethanediisocyanate.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the pervaporation separation index (PSI) of the membrane from 2 to 10 times.
