FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a polyurethane composition for producing protective coatings and can be used for protection of metal, concrete, reinforced concrete, wooden surfaces of building structures from corrosion and intensive action of various aggressive media. Polyurethane composition for protective coatings contains 100 pts.wt. of polyoxypropylene glycol with molecular weight of 1000, 90–140 pts.wt. of polyisocyanate based on 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, 1.2–5 pts.wt. of triethanolamine, 5–15 pts.wt. of orthophosphoric acid, solvent mixture of toluene with acetone and ethyl acetate and additionally contains 2.5–15 pts.wt. of phthalic anhydride or 3.6–11 wt. of pyromellite dianhydride.
EFFECT: invention increases hardness of polyurethane protective coating by 30 % and heat resistance by 22 %.
