FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Connecting rod (1) of the internal combustion engine contains shank of the connecting rod, upper head (8) and lower head, cover (3) of the lower head, bolts (4), (5), reinforcing tape (2) and plank (9). Strengthening tape (2) is fixed through holes on its ends by bolts (4), (5) on cover (3) of connecting rod, encases rod shank on its outer contour from one bolt (4) to another bolt (5) through upper head (8) of connecting rod. Distance between centers of holes at ends of belt (2) is less than distance between axles of bolts, (4), (5) of con rod measured on external contour through its upper head (8). In plate (9) on cover (3) of connecting rod distance between centers of holes is less than distance between axes of bolts (4), (5). Threaded part of bolt (4) or (5) is connected via tapered surface with increased in diameter cylindrical settling belt for holes in reinforcing tape (2) and plank (9).
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of con-rod strength and reliability.
