FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used as a backlash-free rolling bearing of mechanisms, in particular in the bearing bearings of the roller cones of the drilling tool. The roller cutter of the drilling tool has a housing rotating on bearings, a thrust ball bearing containing balls, an inner ring made integral with the shaft and an outer ring installed in the housing. In order to ensure constant contact of the rolling element with the tracks during wear, the outer ring is made of two symmetrical parts with a gap between each other and the ability to move along the axis due to springs. The initial springs deformation, the axial force on the roller cutter body, the maximum wear value, the taper angle of the body and the stiffness of the springs are related by a certain ratio.
EFFECT: invention increases the bearing life.
