FIELD: rock-cutting tools, particularly cone drill bearings.
SUBSTANCE: cone drill bearing comprises hollow pin, cutter fastened to the pin through ball bearing means with separator defined by radial pin orifices. Cylindrical lock member is installed in pin interior so that the lock member may cooperate with balls of bearing means. The cone drill bearing also has additional ball-shaped rolling bodies arranged between balls of lock bearing member and between outer pin surface and inner surface of ball race of the cutter.
EFFECT: increased cone drill bearing resistance due to increased contact surface between rolling bodies and support surfaces of pin and cutter and proportional decrease of specific load to be applied to bearing members.
