FIELD: converting technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of converting technology. The auxiliary converter contains input terminals (1, 2) of AC voltage, an input single-phase rectifier (3), the inputs of which are connected to the input terminals (1, 2), the positive output is connected to one input of the sensor (4) of the input voltage and to the input choke (6), and the negative output is connected to another input of the input voltage sensor (4) and the input of the input current sensor (5), the input switching unit (71), consisting of a power diode and a power transistor, the positive terminal of which is connected to the anode of the power diode and with the output of the input choke 6. The output capacitor 8 is connected in parallel with the output terminals (9,10) of the DC voltage. The signal outputs of the input voltage sensor (4) and the input current sensor (5) are connected to the signal inputs 12, 13) of the control unit (11), and the output (141) is connected to the control input of the transistor of the switching unit (71). The converter is equipped with additional switching units (71…7N), each consisting of a power transistor, the positive terminal of which is connected to the anode of the power diode, as well as additional devices: a group of single-phase voltage inverters (151…15N); a group of output current transformers (161…16N) and a group of output rectifiers (171…17N). Each of these groups is made with the number N of said devices (15, 16, 17) equal to the number of switching units (71…7N) connected in series with each other. Each of all switching units (71…7N) through a series-connected single-phase voltage inverter (151…15N) and an output current transformer (161…16N) is connected to the inputs of one of the output rectifiers (171…17N), the outputs of which are connected in parallel to the output terminals (9, 10).
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and the degree of electrical safety due to the decrease in power losses and the cost of the switching units of the device, it allows the use of power transistors and diodes with lower nominal values of the permissible voltage and, therefore, with lower power losses of the switching units while ensuring in the declared converter a galvanic isolation between the input single-phase current and the output direct current.
