SUBSTANCE: invention relates to converter equipment and namely to converters of DC voltage into three-phase AC voltage and can be used to power single-phase and three-phase AC loads with a frequency from several hertz to several kilohertz. The invention also relates to gyroscopes and AC motors. The main field of application of the device is on-board AC power supplies on moving objects as well as a replacement for electromechanical three-phase AC generators. The DC-to-three-phase AC converter consists of a series-connected converter unit, a three-phase inverter, a three-phase filter the outputs of which are connected to the output terminals. The converter unit includes a series-connected single-phase inverter, a transformer and a rectifier. According to the invention, a driver for controlling keys of a three-phase inverter and a control circuit for a DC voltage converter are additionally introduced with appropriate connections. The converter unit additionally has a protective diode, a power supply for auxiliary needs, a switching unit, an input power filter, a supply current sensor, a driver for controlling keys of a single-phase inverter, a temperature sensor, a voltage sensor, an output filter. In this case, a single-phase inverter, a transformer, a rectifier and an output filter of the converter unit, which are connected in series, form a converter stage of the converter unit the output of which is connected to the power input of a three-phase inverter, and the number of converter stages included in the converter unit is determined by the required output power of the DC-to-three-phase AC converter.

EFFECT: invention enhances reliability and expands functional capabilities of the DC-to-three-phase AC converter.
