FIELD: radio and measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fields of radio engineering and measuring technology and can be used in devices for measuring the phase shift between two harmonic oscillations in measuring and radio equipment for controlling and transmitting information. The digital phase shift meter contains an analog-to-digital converter, a multi-bit code shift register for four counts, the first and second channels of quadrature processing, each of which contains a cascaded subtractor and n blocks of accumulation of samples (BNO), each of which consists of a multi-bit code shift register and an adder, a normalizing device, a digital arctangent shaper, a result register, a sync pulse shaper and a sync pulse distributor.
EFFECT: proposed is measurement of the phase shift between the two input harmonic signals, which is performed in the entire possible range of its change, with high accuracy and at the maximum speed of forming the desired result.
