FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in ultrasonic flaw detection to create electromechanical transducers operating in the frequency range 130-170 kHz. The piezoelectric ceramic material contains the following components, wt. %: Na2O -0.84-2.53; K2O - 16.65-19.16; CdO - 6.96-6.98; Nb2O5 - 72.09-72.27; CaO - 0.46-0.76; SiO2 - 0.49-0.82. The material is produced by solid-phase synthesis followed by sintering using conventional ceramic technology.
EFFECT: reducing the relative dielectric constant of polarized samples and mechanical quality factor, increasing coefficient of electromechanical coupling of the planar vibration mode, piezo sensitivity while maintaining a high speed of sound.
