FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the field of computer technology. The method of forming a computational complex of the optimal composition includes the following stages: formation of a set of calculators that are candidates for the composition of a computer complex, serial execution of a set of benchmarks on each computer with the determination and fixation of the execution time of each benchmark from the set, compilation of all possible pairs of calculators and determination of the modulus of the pairwise Pearson correlation coefficient (PCC) for each pair, the formation of a computing complex with the exclusion of repeated connections of the same calculator in the complex.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide optimal coverage of the types of problems to be solved using a minimum number of computers due to, inter alia, eliminating duplication of computers in the computing complex, which ensures the formation of a computing complex of optimal completeness.
