FIELD: geothermal energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geothermal energy and can be used to operate heat exchangers in a mode without salt deposition and with minimal corrosion of its internal surface. The essence of the invention consists in periodically changing the direction of the flows of geothermal and cold heated water in the corresponding circuits of the heat exchanger to the opposite one, while maintaining their countercurrent movement. The period of change in the flow direction is determined by the readings of the salt deposition sensors installed on the geothermal water supply and discharge pipelines directly adjacent to the primary circuit of the heat exchanger.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of the use of the heat exchanger by preventing the formation of the solid phase of calcium carbonate and reducing the corrosion of the equipment.
