FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to electrical machines. The electric machine contains a housing in the cavity of which the stator and rotor of the main machine are located, as well as the stator and rotor of the exciter. The rotor of the main machine and the rotor of the exciter are mounted on the same shaft, the driving element of which is made on the side of the rotor of the main machine. The rotor winding of the main machine is connected to the rotor winding of the exciter through a rectifier. The shaft contains the first cavity, arranged in series in the axial direction of the shaft, intended for receiving the coolant from the external circuit, and the second cavity, intended for the rectifier placement. The first shaft cavity is located on the side of the shaft drive element, and a separate channel connecting the first shaft cavity with the external coolant circuit extends inside the second shaft cavity. The first shaft cavity communicates with the housing cavity and with the second shaft cavity through throttling elements.
EFFECT: invention provides high pressure coolant to the main machine winding and low pressure coolant to the rectifier.
