FIELD: small weapons.
SUBSTANCE: device for electromagnetic braking of moving parts of small arms, placed on the nodes of small arms, which contains a barrel mounted in the frame or barrel extension of the weapon, a locking mechanism containing a bolt, a cover-bolt, a bolt frame, which is a moving part of the weapon, a magnet. One of the parts of the weapon is completely or partially made of an electrically conductive material with a high specific electrical conductivity. The magnet is rigidly connected to the other part of the weapon in such a way that there is a relative movement between the part with magnets and the mating part made of electrically conductive material. When the magnetic field of the currents induced in the conductor interacts with the intrinsic magnetic field of the magnets, a braking force is created that limits the maximum speed of movement V of the conductor relative to the magnets.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased reliability, reduced weight of the weapon, effective braking of the bolt both when recoiling and when rolling the bolt on the chamber, no wear of the interacting parts of the magnetic locking system.
