SUBSTANCE: muzzle compensating brake (MCB) contains a housing with series-connected coaxial chambers with working zones, a through channel, which is located on the same longitudinal axis with the barrel of the weapon. The holes in the working areas of the chambers are placed in such a way that, when installed on the end of the barrel of the weapon, they are oriented perpendicular to the axis of the barrel, and are designed to slow down the rollback of the barrel of the weapon, as well as to reduce or compensate for the toss of the barrel of a weapon that uses the reactive force of gases for its operation. MCB is placed after cutting the barrel, the internal through channel is conditionally divided into two working zones located in the MCB body. The first working zone is located from the front cut of the MCB to the second zone and is equipped with a camera with holes, the second working zone is located in close proximity to the cut of the barrel with one camera. The second working area contains one through hole located on the side surface of the MCB body, extending orthogonally or at an angle directed away from the weapon barrel. In the wall of the chamber in the second zone, in close proximity to the cut of the barrel bore, on the side surface of the MCB body, a through lateral hole is placed, and in the opposite wall of the chamber, under the aforementioned through hole of the second zone, a blind hole is placed facing the central axis of the channel of the MCB body.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of compensation for recoil and bounce of the barrel upward, increased forced gas flow through the side holes, and simplification of the design.
